PTA Newsletter - October
Hi everyone, well it has been a very busy few weeks, lots of work going on behind the scenes. I’m very happy to be voted in as this year’s PTA Chair and although I realise it’s a very different environment to be fundraising in, I feel that it’s given us all an opportunity to make changes and get creative with ways in which to raise vital funds for our children’s education and school environment. Firstly, I want to say thank you to Carrie Amatt, Will Bouma and Helen Wadham and previous committee members for all their hard work and dedication to fundraising over many years. I’ve personally been actively involved with the PTA over the last 7 years, helping to arrange many events and being part of a very dedicated, generous and friendly team of people. This year I’m very much looking forward to working with the new committee and all of you PTA members, remember as parents we are all members of the PTA, it’s up to the individual as to how involved you choose to be.
Due to COVID we aren’t able to socialise like we’d all like to, so we are introducing a monthly Newsletter. We thought it would be a useful way to stay in touch with you all and introduce ourselves to new parents joining our school community.
I really do hope you find this Newsletter useful, please contact me or any other committee members if you have any feedback or ideas for the next issue, or send an email to email@example.com.
Enjoy the half term break.
