...psst don't tell anyone but Christmas is still on...

Christmas is fast approaching and although this year is going to be very different, the PTA and school are working together to ensure that we bring some fun and joy to our children at this special time of the year.

Full details of the Christmas activities will follow, but we are planning on running the following for the children:

· two art & craft activities

· two quizzes

· a Christmas trail/scavenger hunt (this activity will take place during the school day on the 14th December and will be suitable for all age groups).

Father Christmas will also be visiting the school on Monday 14th December and the children will all receive a chocolate treat. To enable us to provide an alternative treat for your child if needed, please ensure you complete the form on ParentMail providing us with details of any food allergy or intolerance that your child may have. And now a request, we are in need of any Christmas items that you can donate in order for us to decorate the outdoor gazebos and other areas of the school.

So, if you are planning on having a clear out this weekend, then please contact your Parent Rep or email us at brookmanspta@gmail.com and we will organise collection. We are in need of trees, tree decorations, baubles, tinsel, ribbon… and an odd request I know, but any foam swimming noodles or old plastic footballs (all will become clear!!)

We want to thank everyone who has paid this term’s £5 donation. This donation is to cover all this terms PTA activities, from the Spooky Day, Pumpkin Trail and Carving competition and the forthcoming Christmas events. There has been a tremendous response to the new payment method and trial and we appreciate the support which you have shown to us. We fully understand that in this current climate some people’s financial situations may have changed. If this is the case, then please inform the school office and if you wish for your child to participate in the Christmas event then they will ensure that your child is included.

Those of you who still wish to donate £5, then the details on how to pay are below. Would you please ensure that payments are made by Friday 27th November otherwise unfortunately your child will not be able to participate in the PTA Christmas events. Payment is very simple...

1. Access your ParentMail account

2. Select ‘payments’

5. Make an online payment

Once again thank you for your continued support and enjoy your weekend. The PTA
